We don’t really get a whole lot of asks for Aster [as opposed to Emil or Ratatosk], but it’s something for us to keep in mind later on.

I can try to request for animated Ratatosk skit faces because I’m pretty sure I’ve seen shocked/smiling/closed eyed skit faces in the skits in ToS:KoR before. :O

Ah, or maybe thank goodness my Japanese isn’t too good? My standard is around N5-4 and I only know around at most 150-200 kanji (and knowledge of Chinese characters don’t count). Which means I can’t read the novel for sure and if I did, I’ll surely be emotional.
Spoilers are always so major but irresistible. Then they break my heart so much.

The latest Monthly Shounen Sirius is out today, which means more updates on the Devil Survivor manga \o/
…which means MC now has a name like Hiro! According to the DeSu manga webpage, his name is 峰岸一哉, furigana is みねぎしかずや, pronounced as Minegishi Kazuya. However, note that Naoya is just introduced as Naoya, so he doesn’t share the Minegishi family name with Kazuya, unlike in the game where he shares his family name with MC.
To commemorate this, the cover of the magazine is of Kazuya and Naoya. The names even rhyme somehow. It’s kind of adorable~
EDIT: I just realised that the protagonist of Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers has the name of Minegishi Keiji with the same kanji of Minegishi in the novels. Is it a coincidence that they have the same family name or is it a shout out to the 3DS remake? Hmm.
